Eat Red meat more likely to suffer from kidney failure

Red meat (such as pork, lamb and beef) is a lot of people "heart love", but also may bring health problems. According to the US "Daily Health" website recently reported that too much red meat may increase the risk of suffering from kidney failure.

Researchers at the National University of Singapore analyzed the relationship between the primary source of protein and renal function in the diet, with 63,257 adult Chinese participating in the study. Participants in the intake of red meat, pork accounted for 97%, other protein foods include poultry meat, fish or shellfish, eggs, dairy products, soybeans and beans. After about 15.5 years of follow-up survey, the researchers found that red meat intake and renal failure increased the risk of a significant relationship, but also a "dose-dependent." People with the largest amount of red meat intake are 40% more likely to suffer from kidney failure than at least the population.

In addition, the study found that poultry meat, fish, eggs or dairy products were not found to be associated with kidney failure, replacing red meat with other protein foods, and the risk of kidney failure was reduced by 62%.
Researchers say: Red meat does not affect health, we can also use fish, shellfish, poultry, plant-derived protein instead of red meat.
