Some Advice of Diet to Diabetics
First, cooking with vegetables oil and should better not to attend a banquet. Trying to order according to the quantity of eating at home and collocation of food.
Second, the intake of cholesterol should less than 200mg every day. The patient should limit intake of animal fat and the fat which contains more saturated fat. Avoiding to fried food and animal offal like pig,chicken, duck, lamb kidney, liver and kidney.
Third, carbohydrate should account for 55 to 60 percent of the total calorie based on controlling total calorie with having roughage. The patients should choose complex carbohydrate and roughage, especially, eating more higher fiber vegetables, beans and grain.
Fourth, focus on the regular quantitative meal. Three meals at least one day and should be regular and quantitative. 4 or 5hours between meals. The patients who inject insulin or have hypoglycemia should add extra meal between three meals. It is the effective measure of avoiding hypoglycemia to take some food from three meals as the extra meal.
Fifth, the intake of monosaccharide should be limited for diabetics. Such as sucrose, maltose, glucose and food contains more these sugar. Diabetics should choose the sweetener which does not generate heat like xylitol.
